Mrs. Diann Fugate is the department head for Communications for Valley Christian High School. She has been teaching print journalism - producing the monthly WARRIOR Newspaper and the annual school yearbook, since 1995. She oversees award-winning Yearbook and Newspaper staffs.
The Warrior student newspaper covers campus news, local and world events. Journalism students use in-depth reporting, photography and layout and design skills to produce the monthly newspaper. Journalism students learn the fundamentals of page design and print production using Adobe In Design CS2 and Adobe PhotoShop.
Advanced Journalism students further develop their leadership responsibilities as editors, business mangers, photographers, page designers and web site developers.
